Support/Sales Tech

The Position is ideal for someone who demonstrates excellent communications skills, interfacing skills and technical skills. You will be working directly with sales and development teams. It will also be a customer facing position providing pre-sales, implementation, and ongoing support to our customers. A successful candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to communicate proposed solutions to technical and non-technical customers.

Web Operations Engineer

We are seeking a Web Operations Engineer to join our fast paced start-up team. You will be working to help build and maintain our growing infrastructure as we scale. You should be highly competent in Linux and familiar with scaling in the cloud. The role will involve supporting and working with our development team to help deliver superior web applications to the our end users 24/7.

Responsibilities and Required Skills:

  •

  • Close cooperation & collaborating with development, product, community and customer care

  • Technical Problem Solving – a love of solving hard-to-find issues

  • Monitoring of our existing environment and reacting to issues

  • Capacity planning to help us grow and continue to scale

  • Provisioning and testing new systems to go into production

  • Testing and identifying issues

  • On-call to provide support to teams outside of normal working hours

  • Chef – familiarity with chef and automation tools

  • Experience of managing ruby-on-rails environments is a plus

  • Knowledge of MySQL administration is important and experience with NoSQL engines would be viewed favorably
